Taylor Knuppel
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR, CO-FOUNDER
Taylor holds a degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Alabama and spent five years teaching elementary music before helping launch TCT. She loves combining her music and education with her passion for theater to create a place where young performers can build confidence, discover their creativity, and feel like they truly belong.
Heather has worked with children for more than 17 years and brings a lifelong love of music and theater to TCT. With experience in instrumental music and stage management, she loves watching productions come together and seeing the friendships, confidence, and memories students build both onstage and off.

Matt holds a B.A. in Music Education from California State University, Fullerton, with additional training in improv and voice acting. A private voice and brass instructor since 2014, he also works professionally in media productions and voice acting. At TCT, Matt loves helping young performers explore their interests, discover a passion for the arts, and feel confident being themselves.

Carrigan Myers
INSTRUCTOR
Carrigan studied Musical Theater at the University of Montevallo and trained with the Open Jar Intensive in New York City, with professional performance credits at Birmingham Children’s Theater. She loves helping students discover their unique strengths as performers while building confidence, developing their skills, and finding joy in theater.
Addie brings more than 10 years of experience as a dance instructor and choreographer, with training in jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, and musical theater and more than 27 years of performance experience. Having performed for eight seasons with Alabama Ballet, she is passionate about giving young performers the same kind of mentorship that inspired her and creating a space where they can challenge themselves, grow, and love theater.
Matt Shuster
INSTRUCTOR
Hannah Jane brings nine years of theater education experience and has directed, choreographed, and performed in more than 30 productions. She also serves as the Theater Director at Hewitt-Trussville High School and loves helping young performers discover their confidence and passion for the stage.
Bethany Maldon
INSTRUCTOR, COSTUME COORDINATOR
Bethany holds a Bachelor of arts in Theatre from UAB and has worked both onstage and behind the scenes, including costuming and technical work for several TCT productions. A hairstylist at Cahaba Roots in Trussville, she especially loves watching TCT students discover confidence in themselves through theatre.
Reagan has over five years of experience helping young performers build confidence and creativity through theater and music. With a Master’s degree in Musical Theater and recent experience with Red Mountain Theatre’s education team, she loves meeting students where they are and helping them develop the skills to feel confident in the audition room and on stage.
Jess Morrison
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Ashlie holds a degree in Radiography and brings her creativity to TCT through set design, with High School Musical marking her fourth production. She loves TCT’s inclusive, family-centered atmosphere and is always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed to help bring each production to life.
