Private Lessons
Personalized training. Individual growth. More confident performers.
Every performer has different strengths, goals, and areas where they want to grow. TCT Private Lessons give students dedicated one-on-one time with an experienced instructor to develop their skills at their own pace.
Whether your child wants to strengthen their voice, prepare for an upcoming audition, build confidence, or continue growing as a performer, private lessons give them training designed specifically for them.

We'll connect your student with a TCT instructor based on their goals and instructor availability.
3. Start Learning
Students meet with their instructor for a 30-minute private lesson each week.
4. Keep Growing
Lessons are individualized, so goals and material can change as your student develops.

Private Lesson FAQs
-
Private lessons are $140 per month and include one 30-minute lesson each week.
-
No! Private lessons can be beneficial at any experience level, including students who are completely new to singing or theater.
Lessons are individualized to each student, so instructors can begin with foundational skills or build upon previous training.
-
That depends on the student!
Lessons may include vocal technique, breath support, musical theater repertoire, performance skills, audition preparation, character development, confidence, or other areas based on the student's individual goals.
-
Absolutely! Students are welcome to use lesson time to prepare for upcoming auditions, including working on audition songs, vocal technique, interpretation, and performance choices.
Private lessons can help students feel more prepared going into an audition, but taking lessons does not guarantee casting or a particular role in a TCT production.
-
Private lessons are available for students in 2nd–12th grade. Because private vocal instruction requires a certain level of developmental readiness, independence, and focus, we typically begin one-on-one lessons in 2nd grade.
For younger performers, we recommend TCT’s age-appropriate group programs and performance opportunities as a great way to begin building confidence and foundational skills.
